Translational Research in Addiction and Integrative Neuroscience
Applications Due February 15th, 2025
Criteria to Apply:
• US citizen (or permanent resident) interested in addiction neuroscience research
• Good academic standing (GPA 3.5+) in a relevant PhD program (e.g., Psych, Neuro, etc.)
• Track-record of research productivity (e.g., conference abstracts and/or manuscripts)
• Primary or secondary PhD mentor is a TRAIN@wayne faculty preceptor (page 10)
Required Application Materials:
• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Graduate transcript (unofficial)
• Three (3) letters of recommendation (from any mentor; do not need to be T32 specific)
• One-page Statement of Purpose including research interests, career goals, and description of
possible dissertation research project/committee

If admitted...
• May – Meet with TRAIN@wayne MPIs to discuss individualized training plan
• June – Complete “Reproducible and Responsible Conduct of Addiction Research” course (0 cr)
• August – Official start of T32 support
